ive just had a pair of brand spanking new 180mm ice tech rotors delivered

all packaged securely and 2 seperate boxes so chances are im missing something

on the tech docs :

it shows the diagram of fitting, which is clear

however on both packages i havent received the 'fixing washer' part?? is this normal? is it only required on different size ones or similar?

ive got the 6bolts and tightening plates, but both seperate packages had no 'fixing washer' in the pack, its not already fixed onto the rotor either

any ideas? surely it cant be that random that two seperate rotors are missing the same part?

This fixing washer isn't used anymore. So don't worry you're not missing them.

phew! thanks chunky....thought it was a bit odd, be nice of shimano to update their site once in a while then

guess you dont have to do the bending thing with the tightening plates anymore then either?

the new tightening plates just say 'top' on them so im guessing thats face up

You can flip them up a little if you want, but I wouldn't bother.

Yeah I think its been noted that Shimano need to update their documentation.
