Has anyone got any suggestions on a way to get a cable through the right angle thingy?

I managed it in the end, but almost had rage-induced convulsions doing it. Getting the cable through such a tight bend without fraying it is very tricky and very annoying.

Can you solder the end of the cable for example?

Someone on here did a guide to it. Pre bending the wire seemed to be the trick I think.

Even with pre-bending it took nearly an hour!

Errrm, it's not the easiest job in the world I'm afraid. The best way to do it is to drift out the silver pin that holds the roller (the bit you are struggling to get the cable around). It comes out star end first. Put the cable through and push it from both ends so it bends then reinsert the pin and tap home.

Simples! Well actually not simple but the easiest way.

Cheers.
