I'm just building up a second hand Mojo 3 frame i've re-homed.

All looks well apart from the through holes in the rear triangle which house the IGUS bushing assemblies for the clevis pivots. There are small counterbores on each side that i presume were there originally and help locate a rubber O-ring each side, theyre a bit chewed up but i think i can live with that.

More concerning is the fact that one side is a real loose fit for the bushing whereas the other side is a nicer push fit. I'm guessing i need to fix this to avoid more wear right? what are my best options to better secure the bushing? A light coat of epoxy on the through hole to reduce the diameter maybe? Or a loctite retaining compound on installation? or something else maybe?

Thanks for any suggestions!!

I’d email Ibis direct. They’ve always been helpful.

Ibis sent me a replacement clevis when this happened on my Ripley 2. It had worn on both sides though and the clevis was free as I was the original owner, but I can't think that it would be that costly if you had to pay. Only thing is that stock levels could be low in the UK so worth checking on their website for spares.

And I've always found them very good at answering emails so maybe there is a Covid reason

Is that Ibis UK or Ibis HQ in the US? I emailed the UK distributor about a mech hanger and didn't hear anything from them for a week (this was mid lockdown 1 so somewhat understandable as they may have been short staffed). So I emailed Ibis direct and got a reply the same day and they were super helpful and I ordered a couple of hangers through them which arrived the next week. I think a week or so after they arrived I got an email back from the UK dist saying "Sorry we're out of stock".

Ibis are great at customer service and I'd also say that DVO who are specced on the Ripmo AF are equally great. Spoke to one of their tech guys when I wasn't sure whether to go air or coil and they also gave me some good tips to get the fork and shock absolutely spot on.

Phone 2Pure up in Glasgow - 0131 449 4147 - they are the distributor in the UK.

Always been very helpful when I've called them.
