[Closed] Iberia and Bike Boxes

Heading to Gran Canaria next week on Iberia Express (out) and Iberia normal (back). Flights booked through BA and are in and out of Heathrow T5.

There's some confusion over whether they will take our bike boxes or whether we have to use ones they provide at the airport (as if!). Also not clear whether our bikes will be accepted as our hold baggage allowance or whether we have to pay a EUR 75 each way charge. Anyone taken their bikes over there on Iberia and if so what was your experience?

We have spoken to various people at BA and Iberia and get a different answer every time.
