I'll save any other replies till the issue has been resolved. But Ian, please read your original sale thread and show me where you stated 'Sold as seen"?

You described the hub as a QR bulb, which it's not. It's a bulb shell/bearings with Pro2 QR adaptors.

Scunny - do yourself a favour and shut up. You look like an utter fool

Ian - I know I am rubbish at doing this myself but I wouldn't answer any more of his posts. Anyone can see where the truth lies. You have been a bit slow in correcting a mistake, scunny has been bang out of order with naming and shaming far too quickly.

Scunny, hence why I said I would send you the adaptors as it was only fair to you

In all fairness to the......... op I did forget to post the adaptors like I promised last Sunday.

Scummy email me your bank details and I'll refund you the whole £15 and an extra £2 for postage back to me.

Sometimes, **** just happens, we're all human.

Ian is hardly one of the "inner circle"

Is there even an "inner circle" any more (if there ever even was one)? Seems to me that you throw enough shit round here, and some of it will stick... It only takes one person with a loud voice, who disagrees with you over something, to make a song and a dance about it...

Not that the OP's doing too well either, it's a classic lose-lose thread

Everything CAN be resolved amicably IMO, it's whether both parties chose to or not, based upon the circumstances, is what makes the difference. 9 times out of 10, it is invariably one side of the bargain has not kept up their end for whatever reason, so fault lies with only one party, but as long as things get sorted out satisfactorily in a relatively timely manner... Well, I've taken weeks to post something before (life and lack of memory got in the way), and I've waited weeks for a couple of things before too. I've also posted stuff that got there next day, and likewise received stuff next day too. We try our best, but it's always the guy who has nothing to do except sit by his computer posting on internet forums, whilst he waits for his bike bits to arrive, that is the first to cast a stone... The rest of us have REAL issues to deal with... Sometimes! 😉

Sorry Northwind, wasn't aimed at you by the way... Some people on here are just too ready to start a mob all the time, you were very understanding, and my apologies again.

I have only just started using this forum again and unfortunaltey i have come to the conclusion a lot of the members are complete idiots and have nothing better to do than comment on threads to aggravate people.

Ahhhhhaaahahahahaha 😀

You should definitely post more often 🙂

Yes, in hindsight the axle's do look different (because they are). So i presume it was a genuine mistake, especially as he'd not fitted the hub.

both quotes are you btw
you know why this happened and he did not do anything deliberately. He offered to resolve it at his expense and you got impatient. You started a thread about money when in fact you were waiting for some bits.
Had he done this deliberately and then told you to f off then fair enough but he offered to fix at his expense.
you had a point but massively over reacted including calling us all mentally handicapped.

It was out of order for Ian to call the OP scummy though, seriously not clever.
Oops, sorry I actually didn't mean this, my phone auto corrects scunny to scummy.

Ah ok fair play Ian. Agree with the post above that these posts are useful when someone has genuinely been scammed.

In this case I think we have two genuine people who have just got frustrated with each other.

In regard to the hub it sounds like a bargain. I would have bought this for £15.

I choose to ignore a number of personal insults, and addressed it with a broad statement. If you choose to take it personally then that's on you, it was directed at the few on here that were getting a little too excited.

Northwind - do you check your email every single day?

No, but I would have posted the correct adaptors when I said I would 😉 FWIW from what I've seen in this thread I'd happilly trade with you, it's some of the responses from others that make me think "these guys will never see my money". Scunny's one 😉

The Inner Circle strikes again. Most people on here are idiots, this thread proves it. Great reading though. 😆

Out of interest, does anyone's mobile's even recognise the word scummy?

Mine doesn't & I was erring on Ian's side before the auto correct statement 😐

With the inclusion of GlitterGary I feel that most of the idiots on the forum have been represented. A few worthy souls are still missing though. Is the rapture beginning to catch up with people? 😯

I want to be in the inner circle, but the dry bumming initiation ceremony has put me off somewhat, I might be persuaded with a good lube though 😐

My mobile doesn't recognise scummy either, but it's understandable writing that after the way he was addressed imo. 🙂

Can't we all just get along?! 😉

Cool. I'm not comfortable with the level of abuse you've received, but maybe hold off on the naming and shaming for a little while longer next time eh?

Water off a ducks back!

Maybe i should. But, if it was a simple mistake then Ian could have explained and the issue been dealt with without 'shaming'. I think his response speaks volumes.

Funny how Ian was able to post from his phone, yet was unable to check/reply to emails 😮
