I promise this isn't a 'what tyre thread' but I would like a new rear tyre, something faster rolling than a High Roller 2, but still has a good leverl of grip. Im thinking Maxxis Advantage or Forekaster???

Specialized Slaughter Grid- Surprisingly good in slippy conditions, fast, pretty tough, doesn't weigh a ton, goes up easily tubeless 🙂

Unless they've bought out a new WT version, I really wouldn't run a Minion SS on a wideish rim - I've seen them on 30mm rims and they're practically square.

I used a Rock Raxor and a Slaughter my old 26" full suss. The Rock Razor had more grip and still rolled well. I put it on as a summer tyre but I left it on well into the autumn and performed surprising well until it got really worn.

I'llI'l putting a RR on my new 27.5 bike when things dry out a bit.

What front tyre? Brands must, I repeat, MUST match. 🙂
