euurggh horrible! is it just me that thinks these long travel hard tails looks super daft. Even with 130mm on my bike (now reduced to 120) I found the front end dive on awkward drops was a bit disconcerting. I cant help thinking that 140mm+ on an ht over proper rocky terrain must be like riding a bucking bronco.

I love the look of it.

I know that the LTHT thing is a UK inspired idea, originally to slacken off head angles on frames, but with the current geometry trends moving on to long, low & slack, is a long travel fork really still necessary? You'll get more geometry / bike handling change as the fork blows through its travel.

Personally, i like the idea of shorter travel (120mm short?) with the slack, long and low geometry. Guess it depends on where, how and what you ride.

Nah I don't find that at all. I run a 150mm travel fork and it feels better than the 130mm one i've swapped out. It doesn't climb up techy stuff as well as the other fork with that much slackness, however that's as much to do with my failings as the forks

That does not look nice 😕 .
The bash, colour, big wheels and the odd looking geometry make it look like a kids bike. I much preferred the look of the P series bikes.

I've noticed no such problem with my 140 revelation, which has quite good compression damping.

Still gonna reduce it to 120mm when I service it though. I think that's sufficient for a 29er HT (for my needs) TBH.

I really liked the look of this when it was a prototype. Having bought a soul though I can't see my need for it any more.
