in my reasearch, ive conlcuded.. its not possible with my setups..
but.. hive mind and all...
Both bikes have zee brakes - I spec B i believe
Both bikes have one up droppers. i dont think there is an i spec b adaptor for one up?
Bike 1 has M8000 11 speed shifter, currently on a clamp, but i think the only option is going to an i spec 2 m8000 shifter/ or shifter housing
Bike 2 has sram GX
any way to get any of this lot using the Zee i spec B setup?
the cheapest solution i can find (not cheap) is M8** brakes/levers which i probably won't do
Ive read this twice and im still not sure what youre asking
wolf tooth will have suitable adapters
I don't think they do from what i can tell
oo, yes, they also do a i spec 2 to sipec b, so thats shifter options.. now.. to work out if there's anything i can do with the dropper..
granted.. new levers may be cheaper 😀
Ironic that you can get an adapter to mount sram shifter to older shimano ispec b brakes but not for a more recent shimano shifter.
CRC have 2 slx m7000 ispec b shifters in for £42. Xt is £60. How important is it to have uncluttered bars?
Re the dropper wolf tooth make an ispec b lever. Again it’s not cheap though.
totally not important. i jsut figured it was one of those things that would be a cheap bling up..
seems that it will potentially run in to the 100's 😀
perhaps i will wait until stuff is broken and jut fit a whole groupset that matches together nicely
I assume one up is mmx. Simple solution get a separate mmx clamp for it, tidier solution, bikeyoke do an mmx to ispec b adaptor (which will also do your gx)
Also forgot to say you can buy a new cover for your xt shifter to make it ispec b.
^ This is the information i didnt have, thanks benpinnick
I happened to take the Sram shifter off last night, it and the oneup dropper have an identical (mirrored) mounting solution, which is MMX as you mentioned
