The Internet days this can be done. I know I'm not as clever as The Internet, but...
I've got m6100 levers, and have just bought a Bonty Line Elite dropper lever.
How the hell am I supposed to put them together? The curved adapter can't fit inside the lever clamp, and if I use the Shimano nut it's 2 female threaded fittings. Is this just not doable? Or does it only work with Shimano shifters?

Can’t be done as far as I’m aware.

Two different standards unless someone makes a “problem solver” adapter.

Ballbags. Cheers for the problemsolvers link but not quite sure it's what I'm after.
I'll for this on the other bike with the matchmaker compatibility then, horrible Trans X lever on that!
I've got an idea that may be bodgeable, will try that first!
Ta.

Buy one of these - https://www.tftuned.com/i-spec-ev-adapter/p3899 or alternatively the MT500IL lever Shimano do is pretty damned decent and not expensive (if you can use the bonty one elsewhere).

Does that adapter not go the wrong way (attaches to an EV brake lever?)

I had the same problem as the OP and treated myself to a One-Up lever instead.
