I've searched everywhere. I'm sure I had a 34t from a shimano deore chainset a couple of years ago. Anyone know of any for sale anywhere?
M770 XT 32 9s are steel teeth on a composite body. Dunno about other shimanos or 10s but worth a look.

Any 34ts around? That's what I meant to put in the title as I can see no end of 32t, 36t and 38t but no 34t.
