I got a Vitus Vee 29 and i#ve been very impressed by it. Originally, i was going to use it for commuting to work and going to the pub/shops/cinema. But i took it on a training ride today around Helsinki and it was very impressive. We covered 78km on gravel tracks and bike paths.

Here's a pic of it from todays ride. 🙂

I've had a 26" one for a couple of years & love mine too !! it's the bike i ride the most (out with the kids, down the pub etc) & all it's needed maintenance wise is some new brake shoes. Brilliant bit of kit !!

I can't get into mine. Seems too rigid for proper off road, too slow for commuting and there aren't many fire roads near me that I'd care to ride out of choice.

Bizarrely, I'm still thinking of putting on some lighter wheels and some old Magura HS33's.

Just can't seem to find a reason to choose it over the full suss or the road bike...

Is everyone running them fairly standard?

planning to change the tyres to schwalbe marathons. And i'll likely put the HS33's from the trials bike onto it too, in the future.

it rides like a big bmx
