New Sram GXP BB into the Pompino. I know it's a 68mm shell and I should use the spacers, but there's a much better chain line without them, so I didn't use them.

What fiery doom awaits me?

the sram LHD crank stops at a point on the axle, you'll probably find a bit of side to side play without the spacer. if you don't then alls good I reckon.

Road chainset or MTB? If road then you shouldn't need spacers anyway...?

Sram Red cranks... so I didn't need the spacers after all? Dammit, thought I was being wild and crazy and sticking it to the man. Oh well.

for future reference if you do need spacers but don't want them on the drive side then you can just put them on the non-drive side.

But I would be wary of fitting all 3 2.5mm spacers on one side.

No spacers needed. Indeed installing them would have caused you problems.
