I tried wearing goggles and an open face helmet years ago

Busted rear wheel, not going to get it sorted before the weekend, set of hardly used wheels in the LBS going cheap, bit of an experiment and off we went 🙂 I've only ridden back up the road from the shop but I popped off a kerb and nearly exploded in my shorts it was so alive 🙂 I don't know how I've lived so long with out 650b in my life 😉

Has the tire been rubbing the frame there Mike. I would have thought not but that's what it looks like.

A scuff at absolute bottom out, going to look into a spacer when I get the proper shock back. We were dropping it out to test the clearance before jumping in with both wheels. It's not going to work with anything bigger than an Ardent but thats fine as I've been running them as my trail tyres here anyway. I'll be dropping the 26" back on it for anything very muddy/hardcore with some HRII's.

and just because there was another one lying around

Main other difference is the one on the right is a 150mm Pike vs the 160mm Avalanche 34.

Also we don't get as much mud as the UK.
