And I have told my wife too. It's day one and the first test was an email from Uber Bike offering me 20% off. I do really want some ceramic jockey wheels but am resisting!

So buying bike stuff you do need is fine then. Sounds like you need ceramic jockey wheels.

Mr Blobby, if it gets broken it is allowed so sadly no jockey wheels.
H1jjy, sadly the age of internet banking means there are few secrets so no surreptitious purchases I'm afraid!
