Does anyone know this area?

The route doesn't seem to make much sense?

You could ask the chap who logged it, the ride is open for comments!

Sorry I only know the stuff around Trentabank and up towards Buxton.

Various trails on the back of the ridge and then using Oakenbank lane on the other side of the valley to create a loop when there is not time for a bigger ride.

Ridge is often muddy, but can be great fun, Oakenbank best south to north (ie go in Rainow end), and is not technical but nicely fast.

Lots of stuff in Macc forest, the goyt and beyond around these parts

That's not far off White Nancy. I've walked around there a bit and I've thought the path down to rainbow would be a great ride, quite steep and fast. It does make sense, I think it's cheeky though. I think if you went you should just follow your nose as the paths and landmarks are quite obvious
