In an attempt to rekindle the romance with the scandal I made some changes, cut the bars down, put a longer stem on, moved the seat, tweaked the cockpit a bit.
Thought I'd have a Sunday morning outing, and as well as the bike making so much more sense, covering ground brilliantly, I stumbled upon some great singletrack on local bridleways, anyway, here's some photos:

I'm gonna leave the front bouncy for now, and try it again on some longer rides with rougher terrain, but today's ride was what I built it for really, and I can't think anything else could be better.
