So I finally convince Mrs Danny to let me buy a mountain bike, get a right good deal on a Genesis Latitude 00 (didn't want to spend a fortune in case I didn't use it as much as I hoped), have been using it as much as I hoped so have upgraded well, pretty much everything except the drive train and we have this sh!tty horrible weather that prevents a decent ride.

I dream of the weekends to get out on her, I am a total off road convert (been riding road for years) and I can't fulfil my need for more trails.

Photo of said bike - might as well be able to look at it (she's kept in the cellar - another Mrs D rule):

Just upgraded to XT M785's - 180mm/160mm

@Jam bo - I don't mind a bit of mud but the trails near me are more like bog, wet root and death. My skills just aren't up to such conditions.

I have been out most weekends on it when the snow's not been with us. Trying to get the miles in but want a proper blast on her...

Cheers

No, I believe a record was a round flat black thing with a hole in the middle that played music (in the dark ages).
