Hi,
Just realized that at some point in the past bought quite a few 12 speed, Eagle chain links in anticipation of new build. But then concept changed and ended up with Shimano 12 speed stuff, including chain.
Bike still in bits, chain in wrapper, hence might ask before.
Anybody tried to use Eagle (or Sunrace) 12 speed quick links to join Shimano chain with success?

Shimano 12 spd chains come with their own quick link, so no real need?
Yes, they do, just want to know if I can use what is already sitting in the box, as a trail repair spare or need to splash on dedicated ones.

They work… and importantly let you use the chain on non-shimano chainrings with more success than the shimano supplied quick link.

What problems have you observed?
Mine is working fine on a Superstar chainring.
Hope rings were the example I had in mind. Superstar work with all chains/links I think.
