Had various packs and on a long ride i always end up in agony!
Pain starts in lower back then down thigh into my knee? Its strange
as i can ride for hours whithout a problem but stick on a pack and
after about 20-30 mins im in agony!
Anybody else the same and any ideas as to why it happens?
Not experienced it but I'd say either do some core strength exercises or look at a wingnut pack (if you can find one), or both. How heavy is the pack and have you experimented with it nearly empty to see if the same pain occurs?
The talk of pain going down you leg sounds like you may be triggering a sciatic nerve problem.
Even though I sell the Wingnuts it doesn't sound like one would help if the pain starts in the lower back. Wingnuts place the weight of the pack on the hips not the shoulders.
