Fitted some Hutchinson Fusion Performance Storm tyres on the road bike last weekend, but a bout of Covid has meant only one ride so far. 30mm tyres on 19mm inner width rims (come up as the stated 30mm width 😀). I'm probably a shade under 13 stone currently. What kind of pressures should I be running these at? Currently 65/70psi, and not really giving much more comfort than the tubed 28mm Conti GP4000II'S that were on previously...can I go lower?
How do you run yours?
Mavic have a good app for working out pressures
I would have thought a 28mm GP4000 would plump out wider than 30mm, perhaps that why not feeling much improvement in comfort with a 30mm tyre?
