Still miss riding (note: not racing) the IOM TT each year on my bike. Mad Sunday is something else! Get urges to go again. Actually , my race Dainese leathers no longer fit & no way am I spending another £1k+ on new leathers.

That tankslapper one's horrible... Just thinking about it, those few seconds of knowing you're completely ****ed but before you actually crash...
Jeezus br the second crash in your first post looks a right bad yin
in the late 80's i worked at the tt running the ohlins and wp race service,, you cant believe the amount of steering dampers and shocks i rebuilt in two weeks,,
i did have time for a lap on my mountainbike for the riders fund that was fun flat out down to signpost,,
i was sitting at signpost watching foggy and hislop come thru there clipping the bank on the outside
That first one I think is still the worst, just the fact he goes straight into a wall, completely destroys it and goes flying, looked horrendous
JESUS H!! that must have hurt, where does the chap fly off into the bush? I'd still LOVE to see rossi do this, whether he won or lost.
Milky's crash is probably the one that makes me shudder most
I've fallen twice at the on the IOM [Manx GP] once at Governor's & once at Ramsey - so fortunately not too fast
All Hail Uplink. My new hero.
Do you fancy racing the TT?
Are you still racing?
Can you walk without too much discomfort with such large testicles?
I think the coolest job must be a Traveling Marshall.

Not these days, no - last time I raced was 86 - last time I did the Manx was 81

Ha!
Walking isn't too bad 😉
can't watch this stuff since DJ.
131.578 mph as an average speed around the course.
Beggars belief.
My mate Steve Ellis had a real bad one on the Manx, thankfully he survived but was in Douglas ICU in a coma for a few weeks.
"who needs a spleen - we just fed it to the dogs"
priceless
I just spent 3 hours watching lots of nasty car crashes on YouTube (F1, Champ Car, Indy, Le Mans, rallying, you name it). Finally tore myself away from the carnage only to end up here. Brilliant 🙂

I'm the same, it makes me very uncomfortable. More so as a close mate nearly died a couple of years back in a crash prior to his first TT. Put a bit of a downer on that year's trip to the Island.
Looking forward to this year though.
