The fork flex is something I could’ve lived without seeing.

Watched this earlier, downtube mounted shocks seem to flex a lot less than top tube. Shame as I wanted a 5010, is flex necessarily a bad thing?

the front brake is on which isn't going to help.

I would've thought not, otherwise the frames going to crack or snap
No, I really think you're overthinking this.

I used to watch the companionways running down the side of container ships at sea. More specifically, I would watch the door at the end rotate its position relative to the one I was watching it through. This is entirely normal and something that needs to happen. See also aeroplane wings.
Flexis not bad in itself but it depends on the extent of the flex whether is is structurally bad or just an annoyance. The forces have to be relieved somewhere.
I was wondering how all those forks would compare to dual crown units, I'm willing to bet they would be much stiffer but not sure how the bike would react to the increased force on the head tube.
Cringe worthy seeing those forks flex though I'm sure they are capable of taking it.😳
I found this oddly interesting to watch, if you watch pretty much all of them seem to do a sort of double bounce/2 stage compression of the rear tyre. Initial contact, then a sort of bounce/forward weight shift after the first 50% of travel, then the rest of the load goes into the bike and the suspension and tyre fully bottom out...
Seems to be the way they all behave, pretty constantly, but not something you generally perceive when riding (YMMV of course).
I'm far from certain that this is right but I'm wondering if the double bounce is initially the bike hitting the ground followed by a slight compression of the riders legs and arms and then the second stage is when the riders limbs effectively 'bottom out' and the rest of his weight is taken up by the suspension?
I thought the second ‘hit’ was him grabbing a fist full of brakes?
