ive got a set of tubless wheels .
the rims are mavic tubless rims .
rear hub is an xt and the front hub is a no name 20mm hub.
is it easy to service a xt hub??
how easy is it to replace bearings in 20mm front hub??
or am i better off getting the rims built up onto some new hubs??

XT rear hub is very simple to service. 17 and 15mm cone spanners (you could get away with just the 15mm and an adjustable spanner ..). Just grease up the ball bearings. If needs be the ball bearings themselves aren't overly expensive.
Try to measure up the front bearings and get some new ones from a bearing company
Its going to cost the price of 2 new hubs (probably 2 new sets of different length spokes if you go for something different) and the labour. It'd probably be cheaper to buy complete new wheels than do this
XT, simple and quick to service. Tools needed, Chain whip and cassette tool to get the cassette out of the way. Cone spanners as above.
Get the cogs off, then undo one side locknut. Unscrew cone from one side. Pull out. Scrabble round on floor for the bearing you just dropped. Clean everything up, degrease/rinse all through with GT85. Dry off. Regrease, rebuild. Faff to get the bearings loaded just right. Tighten locknut. Done.
20mm hub? Prob just drifting out the old and in with the new bearing, but without knowing what it was, couldn't say more. Possibly post a pic up and some one might know, otherwise knowing what bike they started life on would be a start.
Fixing cost is less than £20 - when you get your front bearings out they will have anumber on them so you can replace them easily.
I reckon about £3 rear bearings as they are loose, £10 ish front pair [well hope are] + spanners if required
