So I'm after some new 29'er wheels and I've seen 3 sets within budget (read less than £350).

1, The Stans Crest/Arch on Hope Pro II Evo's
2, The Stans Crest/Arch on Hope Pro II Straight Pull
3, The Stans Arch on Stans 330's

I've had Pro II's on 3 sets of wheels previously and they've been great, but the Stans complete set I've found is well discounted, and I'm wondering about the reliability of the hubs compared to Hopes

Got a few pairs of stans hubs.
Been very pleased with them bearing last about the same as my hope ones
Paligap stock the paws etc for the freehubody but I've not had to fit any

hope are horrible clicky yorkshire gash. 😆

Stans or look to get some nice components and learn to build yourself. It's great fun and means you can build some proper pimp.

I think Hope would be most offended by your comments tazzymtb -they are based in Lancashire not Yorkshire

I can't see any decent cartridge bearing hub being any worse then Hopeless.
