My Fulcrum hub bearings have gone again (4th time in 12months)

Am I right in thinking as long they are the same dimensions I can use any other bearings?

"inside diameter X outside diameter X width"

Carefully take the seals off and whack some grease in before you install...I bet they last longer.

You're no jet-washing/muc-off-ing?

Nope, no jetwash/mucoff abuse. Just lots of riding. They are laced onto 29er wheels which I guess the extra leverage helps to wear them out faster.
