Wanting something with a bit more of a platform than my XTR Trails for my bouncy bike - the cage doesn't really offer much support.

I like the look of the new HTs, particularly the X2, but don't really seem to be many reviews about apart from the odd one of the X1. Anyone used any of the HT offerings? Worth giving a go?

I know there's the CB Mallets, but in my experience of the Candys the cleats wear out pretty quickly and reliability isn't known as one of their strong points...

They may have been in a pedal group test in the last mag issue? Handed it on to a mate so can't check for you.

Yup, MCTD is right, group test in issue 103. HT T1 pedals got a recommendation from Singletrack.

Ah, I'm not much of a mag reader... - Were the X2 reviewed too? Might pick it up if so. T1 doesn't look to have any more of a platform than my current pedals.
