Doubt it, a 2.5wt dhf only just fits in a non boost pike on my Jeffsy (29 flavour). Any mud on the tyre and it rubs the ride guard.

I doubt that’ll fit through. I’ve got a 2.5wt DHF in a non-boost Yari - it fits through with some mud room (or it’s fairly tight with an Enduro guard) but there’s not room for a bigger tyre again I’d say. Mines on a  25mm rim too - it would be even bigger with a wider rim.

2.9x27.5 DHF on non boost 29er Pike here, I use a marsh guard, would like more mud clearance, but there's certainly enough room.

Do you mean 2.8x 27.5 on a 29er fork?

Im thinking 2.8 27.5 on a 27.5 fork (hopeful thinking)

I’ve got a 2.8 Minion in a boost Yari and height wise it’s as tight as, haven’t tried yet but thing a mud flap thing will only work in the dry!

I have a 2.8 HR running in a pike non-boost, it’s very tight but I’ve not have any issues. When it wears out I’ll replace with a 2.6

Tried my plus bike wheel ( 2.8 Dhr 2 on a 45mm rim ) in my normal pikes and while it fits, I wouldn't want the tyre or rim flexing much.

Thin mudguard would fit but wouldn't want to run it in any conditions that justified using on.

sounds like 2.6 is the way to go on 650b but i assume on a 29er fork the 2.8 fits fine?

cheers
