Anyone got a Howies Whistler Jacket. I'd like a down jacket for apres biking, camping etc and thought this looked ok. Alternatively any other jackets I should be looking at to keep me toasty and dry?

Very few are properly waterproof, some spends Rab ones are though
The alpkit one is very good, and pretty well priced if you don't need a flash label.
Howies stuff is usually pretty nice though, but £££s
Looked at Alpkit but stock availability always looks poor. Don't necessarily need waterproof but enough to stay dry in a shower.
Finisterre stuff is also really good and reasonably water resistant. I've got one of their Bise synthetic down gilets which I'm hardly out of.
