Heading over next week, looking at some alternative descents, which is better White fell or Bram rigg?, down past Winder also looks good, any top tips from locals muchly appreciated.

best descent is bowderdale. the others are grassy, but fast.

had a week at a cottage in sedbergh a few years ago. went up and over the howgills 4 times in the week. up and down a different track each time. it was pretty good too.

will be doing the same with the family, did Bowderdale a few years ago, will do this again, great bit of trail.
