Hi everyone. Just want to take a moment to introduce myself. I've been reading this forum quite a bit as of late, so I figured signing up is probably appropriate.

I have, or about to have, a 2015 Lynskey Pro 29 frame -- but have yet to decide whether I want to build it up or sell it. I used to ride a lot of XC. Now that I'm older and heavier, I just want to have more fun with aggressive-trail, all-mountain, and fast switch-back rides. Have been looking at 2Souls Quarterhorse, Canfield N9, Kona Honzo, etc -- maybe even a custom-build steel frame (e.g. Waltworks).

Anyway, look forward to reading and exchanging here.

Cheers.

Where in Texas are you? I spent all if my Christmases in your great state, from the age of five to twenty-one.

Thanks for the "hi".

I live in Fort Worth. Grew up in Utah (Moab, Park City = fun).

SaxonRider --- if you visit north Texas, let me know. Maybe we can get together a bit. Though, I usually spend my Christmas in northern Utah.

I'm not certain a gammer Nazi should be using 'LOL'.

However if you have lots of guns and are very right wing then the 'Nazi' would be acceptable.

🙂

Leku--- time and place. It's all dependent on the context and situation. When I used to play a lot of basketball, and was dunking, I certainly was not a grammar nazi on the court.

A lot of guns? No. I also compete in pistol action shooting (IPSC). The World Championship was just held in Florida.

fivespot -- tyre choice for the north Texas loose dirt is Maxxis Ikon. It's a good thing I use good tyres and get less tired. 🙂

All,

By the way, if I have "goodies" to sell, should I post them here at all or just keep them on this side of the pond?

Ah, Fort Worth is a bit North for me. I have driven through on occasion to by-pass Dallas, but never really stayed other than at the local Super 8.

The towns along the Rio Grande were more my turf, although I have a good friend in Dallas.

Anyway, welcome to the forum.

Not much transatlantic trade in the classifieds. I'm in Colorado, and generally use the "parking lot bike deals" facebook page to sell things.

Howdy

I have a Kona Raijin (ti frame, beautifully made by Lynskey, and similar to your Pro). Rides lovely with a 100mm fork... however

These two get more love these days

Oh yes cheese - their footprint is so huge and traction so off the scale, they stick wherever you leave 'em 🙂

Might not look so special in Texas, but I'd have one of these made if I had the cash.
