Went out on a first proper road ride this evening. For those who know the area, Plymouth->Yelverton->Tavistock->Princetown->Yelverton->Plymouth was the route I did.

How'd you all think I did? I'm curious as to what others think as I really don't know if I put in a good time for that sort of distance/climbing or not. All I know is I hurt now.

That response has actually made my evening. Thanks for that 🙂
And that's not bad at all from a roadie perspective.
Tenth on one climb. That's great for your first big ride.
For a first road ride i'd say that was epic - Hats off to you. I did my first road ride on friday. Managed 25 miles in 1:45 and finished with a ruined lower back and sore legs. Can't wait for exams to be finished so I can get out and improve!
finished with a ruined lower back
Bars too low ❗
It's decent.
Ruined lower back is probably due to your saddle being too high.
Cheers guys, nice to know I'm not silly slow. Will have to try and better that before I leave Plymouth for the summer 😀
