People will say 2.3 - I spent a week in the alps/doing the Mega with 2.5s (Dual Ply High Rollers) on and didn't have any problems. Seem to remember doug_basque_mtb said lots of people out there use them with 2.5s without problems too.

Gets some Hope Hoops with Flow rims...Flow rims are only 10g heavier that 719s iirc but Flow rims are wider.

1.5-2.3 so they'll work best with 1.9-2.1 and just about cope outside that.

If your wanting to run biger tires i'd get bigger rims to, no point skimping on rim weight if your going to be putting a kilo of rubber on them!

Not really. If they can't handle 2.5 tyres how come my ghetto tubeless 719 never burped once during a week in the Alps?
