My trailer mount moves slightly in use and obviously chews all the paint up,have stuck some helicopter tape there now to minimise the damage, what do others use??some old inner tube perhaps etc? Any tips appreciated

Used to use bits of old inner tube when I had an attachment bracket which located in the angle between the seat and chain stays. Changed to a bracket which replaced the quick release skewer on the back wheel which is far less bother

Ah cheers will Google that and see if i can change the way it mounts
