Hi. Anyone done this? I can’t see how to replace the two sealed cartridge bearings inside the cassette body.
I can’t see that I can knock the bearings out in either direction. Internet is not helping me. Hopefully someone can!

Bearings come out towards the threaded end, inner one will have a circlip retaining it I think.
You can pull the first one out with a blind puller, or catch the edge with a punch and carefully walk it out, then remove the spacer (s?), circlip, then knock the second one out, deep socket makes it easy to drive the second one out straight.
If the inner bearing race blows out a blind puller works on the outer race.
Thanks. I’ll try. It just seems there is a ring of metal on the threads stopping the outer one come out. Ive remove the outer clip though. Can you see on the photos?
Ill try a bit of force and see.
Thanks
You have removed a clip from in front of this bearing?

Yes. A thin split washer type thing? But I wonder if there are two as there is something else in the way?
All sorted. I would have sworn there was something in the way but perhaps an optical illusion. All bearings out now so can order the new ones. Thanks for support.
I've replaced the bearings in the axle but now planning to replace the two bearings in the freehub body also. I assume both the bearings are the same size? In the axle one bearing was a different size to the other. Want to order them before I take them out but not sure which size to get.
