Hi
I've just finished my Intense 6.6 and want to go for a 10mm bolt thro axle. I'm running Hope Pro2 hubs.
Anyone have a hit list of parts needed?
Steve

Don't have links but Hope adapters are on CRC and then just get the 10mm bolt thu from Superstar.

Takes 10 minutes.

For a regular pro 2 (Not the EVO)you will require new end caps and a new axle.

This should be the kit you need

http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/product/176/hub223/hope-pro-2-rear-10mm-thru-conversion-kit.html

to swap the axle you will need a mallet and either the hope tools for setting the bearings or suitable sockets.

I've got the Superstar 10mm QR bolt thru axle on their Switch hubs which was very easy and quick to change from normal QR, I'm sure the Hope hub is just as easy.

The SS quick releases aren't great. As trivial as it sounds, its flippin hard to do the nut up and the part that fits between the lever and the frame doesn't rotate with the lever meaning you're sometimes clamping down with the lever not sat correctly. Before I bought it I read a review on the SS website from someone saying about the nut not being able to be turned very well and thought that they were just making a mountain of a mole hill but it really is a niggly little pain in the ass.

Suppose you get what you pay for - its good for the money, not soo good vs the competition.
