I have just bled my new Zee brakes. I took it pretty slow and steady using the proper Shimano funnel and yellow bleed block and reckon the bleed is pretty good, but the lever throw is quite long, I'd rather have an earlier bite point.
I bled by pushing oil up from the bottom to the funnel, letting it drain back down then squeezing the lever and briefly opening the bleed nipple then finally squeezing the lever to get last small bubbles out.
These being Zee there is no freestroke adjuster screw (they are basically the same as SLX). What is the best way to change it? From reading other threads there seems to be a lack of consensus on the best way to do it but the options seem to be:
1. Take the wheel out, put a bank card between the pads and squeeze a couple of times to bring the pads out further.
2. Assume there is still air in the brake and open the reservoir port screw, squeeze lever to bring out small bubbles. Top up oil and put screw back in.
3. 'Charge' the brake by adding more oil under pressure at caliper end. The person suggesting this on the other thread was criticised so I don't think it is the way to do it.
4. Rebleed with a narrower bleed block. I can't see how this differs from just doing 1 really.
5. Assume the bleed is actually the problem and redo it.
Which is the best option and are there any others?

Start with a mini bleed - your no. 2 - while jiggling the lever about a bit I reckon. That's all mine needed after a lever replacement to remain spot on.
Push Pistons out further so then they have less distance to travel (when pads are in place) so it reduces the distance the pad travels to contact the brake disc.
They will eventually start to move back though and then you get increased lever travel again.
4 is what I do.
I don't mind starting with 2 as it is pretty low hassle!
