Hey - I broke the remote barb on my reverb a while back and have just got a new hose kit to fit. When the barb broke, the post was in the short / down position.
I've got the new hose and fitted it and now can't get the post to go back to the extended position - anyone got any tips here?
If I remove the air, it can extend, but putting air back in just pulls it back to the short position.
It was working perfectly before the host broke..

Bleed and then put the air in?
As above. You've fitted the hose but have you bled it? The valve needs oil pressure to operate and allow extension.
my solution: give up..
seriously - I gave up to go for a ride - put the syringes away and put the bleed screws back on - pressed the lever in a vein attempt to get it to work and it just popped up.
guess it doesn't work when there's a syringe attached.. too many beers last night
