I have been gifted some 26" superstar AM carbon wheels for a bike I am building for my son. Only problem is they are the wrong axle size. They have Switch Ultra Lite hubs on them with 15mm front axles and 142x12mm rear. I need to convert both to QR (rear needs to be 135) for the frame we picked up from ebay.
I can't work out from the superstar website whether the parts are available to convert them. Also found a vintage thread about them being the same as Novatec hubs. Just not sure what I need to order, anyone able to help?
15mm front is easy, just buy a through-axle to QR adapter from ebay...
You need either this or the push in for the front (check your endcaps are screw or push) they did 2 versions

You can't physically reduce the 142 to 135... for the rear
Email SS. I needed to for some hub end caps and they were great.
As above for front, I use a couple of the ebay adapter sleeves and totally forgot they were even there.
Yeah, not sure if they're all the same, but current Superstar hubs are boost/non-boost specific, i.e. the shell is a different width so you can't just swap end caps (possibly you could make non-boost->boost work, but as above, you can make a boost hub smaller).
Email them. Very good at knowing which Novatec hubs they are.

Possibly correct but I'm not sure that you're right, on most but not all hubs 142 and 135 were simply an end cap change. As above though, superstar will tell you definitively.
Iirc the switch hubs were novatec origin, so if you can find out what model, you should be able to source either end caps, or a qr axle for the rear relatively easily.

They are novatec 772 .. you switch the entire axle.
Now I look there is a 9mm and 10mm 135 so I might just convert the one I have to use on the 4xish bike
