I missed the boat at Xmas but now would really like to pull the trigger - it seems to be discounted to £999 at least annually but I suspect it happens more frequently.

Anyone been keeping a closer eye?

I bought one in Dec 2022 at that price, love it.  I've only seen it at that price again briefly in Dec 2023, full price was around £1600 but I've frequently seen it listed at £1299.  But it's on-one, so who knows what discounts lie in the future?

There's £500 off the SRAM Force 1 version at the moment, making it cheaper than the Rival 1, but it's still £1500.

It's anyone's guess when/if the Rival 1 will be discounted.

I've been mulling over what you said about the Force equipped Rujo price and the more I thought about it the more I liked the idea of a Force equipped Rujo.

So I've just bought one - and I'm laying the blame solely at your feet PJay.

Sadly the 10% discount code wouldn't work, I suppose they don't further discount sale items.. (although I tried the same on the Rival version and this time it said 'discount not available on this item')

Oooh, NBD! I really hope you enjoy it, it looks a lovely bike.

I'm currently, slowly, building up a Ragley Trig which will be my first proper gravel bike.

The missus bought one in a small at £999 a year or so back, which turned out to be the last one they had. Since then I'm pretty sure they've been at full price. Nice bikes though and a bargain at £1k. I like steel-framed bikes. Just waiting for my long-abused Dirty Disco to expire in a terminal way before I can begin to contemplate one though.

DDs won't die. Mine and the other I know won't anyway. Wouldn't mind a Rujo but worried that it will be noticeably heavier than the DD.
