If you can find one, then it would depend on how old it is of course.

Say something that was three years old, pre-Kashima but with a FIT RC2 cartridge in good condition, maybe around £300-400 tops.

If it was Kashima and therefore less than say two years old, maybe around £450-500?

But like I say, finding one is the hard part. There aren't many Vans about these days as everyone finds the air sprung Float to be just as good.

About the only good reason to desperately want the Van is because it comes in black rather than white.

As for the axle, the fork would have shipped with the axle, but whether it's included in the sale is up to the seller.

you can get good condition pre kashima 36s van r with 20mmm axle and axle qrs (which started in 2009 I think)for 250 ish on ebay.
I've had a set since 2009 and they are excellent.

If they are rl or rc 2 or whatever you willpay a bit more. Put in an ebay search notification thingy and they will email you every time one turns up.

Axle is pretty much Fox 36 specific, so you need it.

And beware of the cost of a service...

b r: Wrong. Well in the case of the older 36's with the pinch bolts. The axle was the exact same on the pinch bolt 40's too.

And finally - cheers for your patience - what kind of price for a set of pikes?

Recently serviced and not ridden much but visible wear and tear on lowers (no marks on stanchions)
