Anything from 2hrs onwards. 90min up, 20min down if you don't hang about.

I tried climbing the Pony Path in May.

For me certainly other than the very bottom and after the ridge it was a long push / carry up - 90 minutes sounds about right.

20 minutes down seems about right it 90% rideable on the way down apart from a couple of section where the steps are really big

Is it a fun descent? I've been contemplating it for a month or so

I hope so, I will be staying in view of it for a week, so it would seem wrong not to climb/ride it.

It's not a spectacular mile after mile singletrack descent, but its fun and the views (if it's clear) are fantastic, worth it.

All day.

Take the track down the valley from Abergynolwyn (parking in the village opposite The Railway pub) and turn right at the bottom. Keep going up until you get to the top

Various descents in the same general direction.

Hmmmm always fancied this, anyone know if it would be suitable to do with a dog?

(ie: its it very slately/sharp rocks under foot and how much stock about?)
