Have a black- black kevlar saddle 3 months old and the fabric around the logo is starting to hole.
Wear and tear or warranty job?

Shite pic but it looks like it's rubbing on the plastic bottom of the saddle. The Stiching around the sdg logo it starting to come away.

Looks like mud on the side of the saddle, I'm guessing it's been for a slide along the ground..wear and tear..

The stitching on all my SDG saddles is what made me give up on them in the end, I think all mine have gone like that. Moved to WTB who don't have a seam in a place where it's bound to get worn quickly

Ive had bel airs for about 6 years they normally get torn in a crash way before they ever wear out.

The hole sits just on the plastic on the saddle. I've pulled it up to get the crap pic.

Local trail mud, it's summer 😉

Looks like the material has rubbed on the plastic then. Take it back to the shop and see what they say.

^^This. Mine get destroyed before they wear out. Best saddle ever IMHO

It should last at least until the end of the week you bought it. After that they fall apart and creak horrendously. Pity as they are the most comfortable seats ever.

I found they're pretty good about warranty issues. My belair 2 had red printed detailing which rubbed off after a few rides. Compared to my sdg falcon on my other bike this was pretty poor I thought so I sent it back to ubyk and the had me a replacement quite promptly. Wasn't really expecting this as it was only a cosmetic issue. The replacement is now 7 or 8 months old and still looks great. Dead comfy too!
