I have been given an offer for a bike I was selling and the guy said he'd come to pick it up next week some time (was awaiting a date via email). Not heard anything from him in two days and had a few other offers in the meantime.
do I:
1: sell to someone else
2: wait another day and tell him i've sold it to someone else
Give him a deadline to respond with a firm collection date. If he doesn't get back to you within that time frame then sell it to someone else.
I'd give it over the weekend and wait to see if he gives you a day that he is coming to pick it up.
If you don't hear anything on Monday, send an email just saying "are you still going to be picking up this week?" and " If you don't hear off him before 12pm Wednesday, you will assume he no longer wants the bike."
something like that.
