Finally getting around to building the frame up and I want to put the spacer underneath the headtube.
I've undone the top and bottom clamps and undone and taken out the steerer tube. How does the stem release as I guess that's keeping the fork on the head and I don't want to force it?
Anything else that I've missed....?
Thanks

Depends on model and what stem/steerer interface you have...

If you're not sure what you have stick up a pic.

Had to stop halfway through, car dramas 🙄
Only had a quick peep but the bearings are a tight fit in the head cups. Is it ok to knock the cups out with the bearings still in place?
Like I said I've not had a proper look yet but could feel a lip inside the cup so think the removal tool should be able grip ok?
Cheers
