Was out on the road bike yesterday and we stopped for a coffee - out came my old knackered waterproof Topeak phone case with card slipped in against the phone - not ideal but sort of did the job. One of my mates had a Rapha phone wallet thing which is very nice so now about to pull the trigger on one https://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/shop/rainproof-essentials-case/product/LEC05XXDNY - really nice quality with internal dividers etc and not too speedy. Also like the look of the EVOC one but reviews not good. What are you using or any recommendations?

IP67 rated phone and Google pay. Couple of pound coins just in case a major off means I need to call for help but my phone's trashed, which hasn't happened so far.

Clear plastic pencil case. Perfect size for a phone, card and zips to hold change.
Somewhat cheaper than a Rapha case too.

Pencil case doesn’t have dividers to stop coins scratching phone though...

Either waterproof phone ( Xperia XZ1) and Google pay or ancient PAYG phone and Google pay/£10 shoved in the back, plus Ziploc bag.

Heavy duty waterproof bag - Loksac. Each one lasts a few years before the seal goes - so 400-500 uses.

https://www.spibelt.co.uk/products/loksak-waterproof-bags-twin-pack-4-x-7?_pos=2&_sid=0a8591555&_ss=r

Goes in the jersey pocket with the phone, card and a £10 note. Any coins I get as change go loose in the pocket. Keys in another pocket.

I put some cash and a card in a money bag and my phone has a griffin survivor case so is well protected. It’s not a pretty solution but it’s cheap and has served me well in all weathers.

Phone is waterproof, and I want to take pictures so in a zipped jersey pocket for easy access.

Wallet and a battery pack go in a lezyne caddy.

https://www.wiggle.co.uk/lezyne-caddy-sack-medium/

Looked at belroy before, they do a weatherproof wallet thing. Spendy though, much more so than the Rapha thingie above so didn’t get one.

Newer iPhones are waterproof enough. Lives in a case with a screen protector anyway.

Usually have a £20 note folded up in the case, & have ApplePay anyway. Reaching the point where a wallet is becoming redundant.

Phone in water resistant shorts pocket, in a sandwich bag (reused for purpose) if very heavy rain. Wallet in jacket/ jersey pocket.

And a tenner in the saddle bag.

25 quid for a freezer bag with a fancy name on it? Mental.

My phone is water, dust and shock proof so I don't need a fancy case for that...I have a tenner note with me and that is it...the tenner is plastic so also water, dust and shock proof.

Anything else and it would go in a freezer Ziploc bag.

Either one or two (if it's going to be particularly bad weather) nylon stuff sacks that come with jackets and the like. That then goes in either a jersey pocket or a top tube bag of some sort. I've one of these that also contains my FAK and tools and spares.

Wildcat Cheetah

I'll have my bank card the the stuff sack as well and depending on where I'm going some cash. For instance yesterday on the Settle-Carlisle railway the woman running buffet cart that goes along the train said her card machine would stop working between Ribblehead and near to Appleby because it couldn't connect so for that part of the journey she was cash only. Some places in remoter Scotland are also cash only but it's becoming increasingly rare.

Case with a little pocket on the back like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07K1M93M3

Tend to leave a card and a folded tenner in there all the time. Phone itself is waterproof so glad to stop faffing about with a special bag for it to go in.
