I'm trying to fit a 1 1/8" stem to an old style fork (the type that has had a quill stem inserted into the steerer tube). Any idea how I do it? I guess I need an adapter of sorts.

if only i could get some 1" threadless steerer forks with a disc mount for a bargain price.... black if poss...
