Forgive me.... for I am about to surrussly damage the kid's bike.
I can't actually explain what the problem is because it's beyond me, but basically I can't unscrew the rear wheel on his Remedy. I've done it loads before, and on his old EX Jnr, but this time it's playing weird buggers.
Basically I stick a big allen key in this hole and turn it anti clockwisr..
It turns a little bit but then stops. As it turns I can see the distance between the cassette and dropout changing!
I could probably turn it further but it sticks and something is quite clearly not right, so I'm not.
I can also use a slightly smaller Allen key in the same hole, which seems to do exactly the same, but in reverse.
Weirdly enough, the torque arrow on the picture above points the wrong way.
There is clearly something seized on the APB, but ****ed if I know what.
Whaddoido?
The drive side is for the mech hanger and not the axle
Ok, that sounds likely as the mech hanger is rotating too!
Forgot to mention that. 🥵
So do I just stick something in the other hole?
Or something smaller in this hole?
🤣
Should be the non drive side - I have a switch tool for mine, but its essentially just a 6mm allen key.
