Nice day out in tignes. Mainly lifts, but one shuttle bus. Recorded the whole day as a ride as that's the only way I know how.

Got the KOM from Brevieres to Tignes in the minibus

Which button do I click to report myself? Is there a way of correctly recording an uplift day?

On desktop website, crop out the motor section, or you can split an activity into three parts.

As above crop it or set to non-public as only public activities appear on leader boards.

To correctly record an uplift day you stop and start your GPS continually either in to one ride or keep on saving each run.

Yeah, right.  Like that's going to happen. I barely manage to turn the damn thing on once a day....

If you have a garmin watch you can use the “snowboard” activity to record uplifts and it only takes the DH sections of your ride. Once uploaded to Strava then you can set to ride or whatever

Odd that they don't employ some software developers to implement some basic logic to cover that evrntuality

On the other hand....

I recently discovered that real world cycling now counts in the Zwift world and I'm going on an uplift holiday to the Alps in a fortnight. That Zwift Everest Challenge will be mine. BuhWah hahahahahahaha!

Recently left my Instinct recording after a trail run (came back by bus), and Garmin Connect didn't record the bus trip so the tech is def there. I think it counted it as non-moving time, and discarded the extra distance.
