or put a bit of bar with a nut on each end of the rail, then get the mole grips on it at midpoint

A bit of kitchen worktop to rest the saddle on rails down, drill two holes side by side staggered in the worktop use two chunky coach bolts M10 or bigger and some washers, one bolt head on the inside of the rail, one on the outside of the rail, as you tighten the bolts down they'll pull the rail flat, I did this years ago with a titanium railed original flite saddle, you might need to fasten down the other rail as well.

Bend the other rail to match and the odd angle will be taken up by the seatpost clamp.

I never trusted it again after the square nose ruined my Christmas by bruising my coccyx severely! Pleased you’ve had some use out of it.
