with a single chainring and chain guide? For the cross? Apart from the expense will it be dropping off every 5 minutes?

Thanks,

Matt

Probably not, but the battery might.  The tabs seem to break for fun.  My pal is on his 4th battery and that’s just on the road.

I can see huge advantages of electronic gearshift on the road, with sequential shifting for 2x systems and self trimming

Off road, where 1x drivetrains ar einherently sequential, they just seem like a really expensive thing to break

SRAM Red? Is the cage even long enough for a mountain bike cassette?

You can run an 11-30 cassette with a short cage eTap rear mech and the Wi-Fli version will let you run up to a 32t at the back.

No idea if you can go bigger than this.
